This past Saturday, February 27th, Synergy Production Group was proud to be a part of something bigger than ourselves. Standing backstage at the mother church of country music with two radios clipped to my shirt, I and 2300 others listened intently to the perfection of a Alison Krauss and Union Station with Jerry Douglas in tow. Mat Kearney, Dave Barnes, Matt Wertz, Jars of Clay, Jon Foreman, NEEDTOBREATHE, and Big Kenny also graced the Ryman stage with their presences. What is more impressive yet, is the reason so many multi-platinum selling, Grammy decorated artists sang this past Saturday non other than hope. Hope for people of Haiti that morn the loss of their loved ones in a devastating earthquake less than two months ago. Compassion International with the leadership of Shaun Groves managed to get all of these artists to donate their time in hopes that others would donate their dollars to a people who have nothing left. What is the cause?

If you have been to our website lately, you may have noticed a few changes.  None are we more excited about then our monthly cause featured on the left hand side of our page.  Synergy Production Group is committed to non-profits and the cause they serve.  We wanted to introduce you to some of these great organizations.   Some of them are our clients while others are simply a cause we believe in.

The month of September is all about Hope House International.  Personally my family and I have a special place for Hope House in our hearts.  Three years ago, it was a Hope House mission trip that set the wheels in motion that would forever change our family.  A little background on Hope House International.

In 1991, two individuals, (a U.S. citizen and a Ukrainian citizen), joined together to facilitate American church mission teams in bringing relief aid and ministry to thousands of orphans each year throughout the Ukraine. Their long standing ministry credibility with Churches across the U.S. as well as in Ukraine enabled them to take their ministry to another level in helping provide aid to orphans . . . and HopeHouse International officially began operating in 2000. HopeHouse helps orphans get out of the orphanage system and become adopted. HopeHouse does so by assisting Ukrainian Christian couples with adequate housing, making them eligible by their government to adopt 3 or more orphans.   Why would you need an organization like this?  Check out these stats and you will understand.

Official Statistics show that before orphans reach the age of 21:

70% will be homeless and unemployed

20% will have criminal records

10% will commit suicide

= 100% NO HOPE

What kind of world would it be if you had no hope?  Many of these children have none and Hope House exists to change that. You can support Hope House financially and you might even consider joining one of their building or mission trips.
